The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) unveiled its 2023-2024 Employees of the Year on February 1, 2024. These nine employees were nominated by one or more of their colleagues or supervisors, who detailed the outstanding contributions they provide to the district that go above and beyond. The nominating individual also described how the candidate demonstrates the district’s four core values of excellence, collaboration, integrity, and innovation.
“On behalf of the Board of Education, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding individuals who have been named this year’s Employees of the Year. Their invaluable contributions to student success and unwavering commitment to serving our community exemplify the essence of our district’s core values,” shared Dr. Alex Cherniss, Superintendent of Schools. “They embody our motto of Putting Kids First, and collectively they ensure a brighter future for the students in our care.”
