Congratulations to El Dorado High School Mock Trial students Wesley Bellin, Peyton Lumley and Michael Nguyen who were honored Friday, Feb. 5, by the Constitutional Rights Foundation of Orange County for their outstanding performances during this year’s Mock Trial season.
Of the 752 students in the competition, only 40 are selected for individual excellence awards. Wesley was honored as one of the two best witnesses in his role, of the 45 students playing that part, while Peyton was selected as one of the competition’s 10 best pretrial attorneys and Michael as one of the 14 best trial attorneys.
Yorba Linda High School’s Darshan Patel was also recognized as an outstanding trial attorney, and Valencia High School’s Ji Dam Lee was recognized as an outstanding pretrial attorney.
