Valencia High School Senior Recognized as National Center for Women & Information Technology Aspirations in Computing National Winner

Valencia High School Senior Gabrielle DeCuir NCWIT

Valencia High School senior Gabrielle DeCuir has been selected as a National Winner of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations in Computing award. Among 40 young women nationwide honored at a National Conference in North Carolina two weeks ago, Gabrielle’s achievements have stood out.

Additionally, she has been named the Orange County Affiliate Winner and is set to be locally recognized on April 20th.

The organization highlighted Gabrielle’s exceptional aptitude in computing, leadership in technology education, and commitment to utilizing technology for societal advancement as the distinguishing factors in her success. Alongside Gabrielle, two more Valencia students have been identified as Rising Stars for their contributions in the field. Way to go, Tiger!
