Earl Cornelis is a 2024 Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Classified Employee of the Year! Earl serves as a custodian at Rose Drive Elementary School in Yorba Linda. This video recaps the day PYLUSD executive leadership members and his colleagues surprised him with the news.

His diligence and attention to detail make Rose Drive shine” shared the Principal of Rose Drive Trisha Gray. “Not only does Earl take pride in his daily routes, but he also takes time to tour the school for any areas that need particular attention or repair. His keen eye ensures that Rose Drive stays in tip-top shape. He exemplifies the Rose Drive Core Values and is willing to help anyone, staff or student, in need of a hand. Earl is extremely deserving of this honor.”
