On Friday, October 11, the PYLUSD Middle School Athletes (MSA) volleyball season came to an exciting close with a championship tournament held at Esperanza High School. After six weeks of intense practice and competitive interdistrict scrimmages, the top boys’ and girls’ teams from each of the district’s six comprehensive middle schools battled for the prestigious title of “PYLUSD MSA District Champion.”
In an exhilarating finale, both the boys’ and girls’ teams from Yorba Linda Middle School emerged victorious. The girls’ team secured their championship by defeating Tuffree Middle School, while the boys’ team triumphed over Travis Ranch Middle School in hard-fought matches.
A special thank you to Esperanza High School’s girls’ volleyball team for graciously hosting the event, and congratulations to all the teams for their dedication and sportsmanship throughout the season!
