Parkview School and Universal Sports Institute Student Earns International Recognition in Fencing

Parkview School and Universal Sports Institute student Andrew Lin, who is dually enrolled at Yorba Linda High School, achieved an outstanding milestone at the World Junior Cup held Oct. 30- Nov.2 in Istanbul, Turkey. Competing against 308 elite fencers representing 48 countries, Andrew exhibited exceptional athletic ability, strategic focus, and perseverance, ultimately earning a bronze medal on the international stage.

This distinguished accomplishment is a testament to Andrew’s dedication, work ethic, and commitment to excellence both in athletics and academics. It also reflects the collaborative encouragement and support provided by his coaches, teachers, and school communities.

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) proudly congratulates Andrew on this remarkable achievement and commends him for representing his schools and district with integrity, determination, and sportsmanship.
