On Wednesday, November 19, El Camino Real High School hosted a highly successful Career Day featuring 15 distinct professions presented by more than 20 industry representatives, including three PYLUSD alumni. In preparation for the event, students completed a survey identifying the career pathways they were most interested in pursuing after high school, and presenters were intentionally selected to align with those interests.
Throughout the day, each student participated in two career exploration sessions, which highlighted fields such as manufacturing, nursing, law, automotive technology, culinary arts, tattoo artistry, business, and real estate. Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many indicating that the presentations provided meaningful insight and directly influenced their postsecondary aspirations.
