Students at Linda Vista Elementary School demonstrated a strong commitment to community service by participating in the Spark of Love Toy Drive in partnership with the Orange County Fire Authority. Organized by the school’s Student Council, the drive was held from November 1 through December 8 and resulted in a successful collection effort.
Throughout the campaign, Student Council members took an active leadership role by creating promotional posters and delivering daily announcements to encourage schoolwide participation. The initiative reflected the school’s core values of kindness, collaboration, and civic responsibility.
The generosity of the Linda Vista school community resulted in the collection of ten full bags of donated toys, which were prepared and sent with well wishes to support families in need during the holiday season. The experience provided students with a meaningful opportunity to practice empathy, leadership, and service to others.
