Valencia High School Boys Soccer Climbs to Top CIF Rankings

VHS Boys Vars Soccer 2025-26

Valencia High School’s Boys Soccer team is making an impressive run this season, earning a No. 2 ranking in the CIF Southern Section out of 471 teams and securing the top spot in Orange County according to the latest CIF Power Rankings.

The Tigers currently hold a 9–1 overall record, with their only loss coming during winter break against No. 7 Canyon High School (Anaheim). Since then, the team has continued to demonstrate consistency, skill, and determination on the field.

The program is led by Head Coach Barry Gardner, alongside Assistant Coaches Leonard Takahashi and Joe Chavoya, whose leadership and dedication have played a key role in the team’s success.

Congratulations to the Valencia High School Boys Soccer team on an outstanding season so far—we look forward to cheering them on as they continue their CIF journey!
