On January 20, Valencia High School students in Rachel Schiff’s Media Studies class participated in an educational field experience at Warner Bros. Studios. The visit provided students with an in-depth introduction to the professional practices that underpin film and television production, including set design, prop development, and industry standards.
Throughout the tour, students explored iconic production sets associated with Gilmore Girls, Friends, Spider-Man, The Big Bang Theory, and Shrinking. As they engaged directly with these environments, students were encouraged to ask questions and connect theoretical concepts from the classroom to real-world applications.
This immersive experience not only enhanced students’ understanding of media production processes but also broadened their awareness of the diverse range of academic and career pathways available within the film and entertainment industries.
