Yorba Linda High School Student Earns Top National and International Recognition in Fencing

Andrew Lin, a student enrolled at Yorba Linda High School and Parkview, has achieved notable distinction in competitive fencing. He is currently ranked No. 1 on the U.S. Men’s Foil Cadet national points list and No. 10 on the Junior points list, reflecting sustained excellence at both levels of competition. On January 2, Lin further demonstrated his skill on the international stage by earning a third-place finish at the Fujairah Cadet World Cup.

In recognition of his performance and competitive standing, Lin has been selected to represent the Chinese National Team at several prestigious international events, including the Asian Cadet Championships and the Cadet World Championships. Selection for these competitions is highly competitive, with only the top three athletes from each country qualifying to participate. Lin’s accomplishments underscore his dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence, and his achievements are a source of pride for the school community.
