On January 24, Valencia High School students demonstrated exceptional achievement at the Future Business Leaders of America Southern Section Leadership Conference held at California State University, Fullerton. A total of 111 students from all grade levels competed across more than 30 competitive events, including objective tests, presentations, and collaborative projects.
Valencia High School competitors earned 40 top-ten awards across a wide range of business and leadership disciplines. In addition to competitive success, student leadership was prominently represented. Eric Chang was elected Vice President of Activities for the Southern Section Board, and Valencia High School secured third place overall in the conference Sweepstakes standings. Current Southern Section board members Alisa Chang, Evelyn Yao, and Madison Low contributed to conference operations by arriving early to support event setup and by leading hour-long workshops attended by hundreds of students.
