Students at Bernardo Yorba Middle School were recognized for outstanding academic achievement at the second spirit rally of the year. Students with GPAs of 2.0 to 2.9 were recognized at the bronze level, students with GPAs of 3.0 to 3.4 at the silver level and students with GPAs of 3.5 to 4.0 at the gold level.
Hosted by Bernardo Yorba’s associated student body (ASB) officers, students participated in grade level competitions and lip sync contests. Staff members also got involved in a game of “human knot.”
BYMS conducts three spirit rallies each year that serve to emphasize positive behavior and encourage personal achievement among the entire student body. This event always proves to be special when all Matadors come together for a common goal – the celebration of excellence!
