Last week, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) announced the winners of their Academic Awards, which honor student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom. El Dorado High School had four programs that were selected as Honorable Mentions. The four teams were:
- Boys basketball – 3.02 GPA
- Boys soccer – 3.17 GPA
- Girls tennis – 3.44 GPA
- Girls volleyball – 3.66 GPA
El Dorado is very proud of these teams’ success.
In addition to team honors, El Dorado seniors Colton Smith and Rachel Han, Valencia High School senior Alec Sweet, and Yorba Linda High School senior Amy Castellano were all recognized for their individual athletic and academic prowess.
