El Dorado High School sophomore, Yoosung Jung, was recently named the winner of the California Casualty “Create Real Impact” Contest. To enter into the contest, students must share a creative solution for discouraging reckless and distracted driving. Student entries must be an original piece of art, writing, video, or music.
On Thursday, October 24, a representative from California Casualy awarded Yoosung with a check for $500 for his video, “Alternate Reality.” Yoosung’s video portrays the impact of reckless and distracted driving by displaying two versions of his life side-by-side. His short film, included below, sheds a light on the fact that small, everyday choices can have major life consequences.
Great work, Golden Hawk.
