Staff at Golden Elementary School (banner picture) and leadership students at El Camino Real High School (pictured below) wear jeans on Friday, Oct. 7, in honor of Denim Day. ECRHS students also passed out pink balloons and lollipops to everyone wearing jeans and pink.
The goal of Denim Day, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, is to help save lives from breast cancer. Since the event started in 1996, participants have raised more than $95 million to make sure no one has to face breast cancer alone.
