Two outstanding support staff members from El Dorado High School, Lupe Gaytan and Gary Sheatz, were honored by the Orange County Athletic Directors Association (OCADA) at their annual dinner on Monday, Nov. 7. Lupe has worked in the girls’ locker room at El Dorado for 32 years. She helps with both physical education (PE) classes and athletic equipment, in addition to caring for the needs of all students, all the time. Gary has been the booster president for cross country and track for seven years. As parent volunteers go, Gary is a gift that any athletic program would love to have. He serves Golden Hawk athletes every day with a smile. Thanks to both Lupe and Gary for always supporting EDHS athletics!
