Third grade students from Mrs. Coulombe’s class at Glenknoll Elementary School have served the community for the last five years. In the past, they provided monthly donations for children at H.I.S. House in Placentia. This year, they adopted a Yorba Linda-based charity called For Families of Active Military (FFAM). Students are making welcome baskets for soldiers reuniting with their families. Baskets include all the things for a fun family night, including movies, games, popcorn and hot chocolate. FFAM provides a weekend stay at a Big Bear cabin for the family. Great job, Cougars!
