On Friday, Feb. 3, Glen K. Cougar made a special appearance, and accompanied fifth and sixth grade leadership students as they brought school spirit to Glenknoll Elementary School’s weekly flag salute/spirit assembly. Decked out in their fancy green attire, Glen and the leadership crew were promoting the R.E.A.C.H. Foundation’s ShamRock ‘n Run, which will be held on Sunday, March 19. For the past two years, Glenknoll has won the participation trophy, and is very motivated to three-peat this year!
The R.E.A.C.H. Foundation is an all-volunteer, education-focused 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at retaining current successful programs, as well as introducing new programs designed to strengthen student performance, and prepare students for the demands of 21st century citizenship readiness.
