The organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County recently named Valencia High School (VHS) senior, Daisy Zambrano, as their 2017 Big Sister of the Year!
Daisy has served as a Big Sister at Melrose Elementary School for four years as well as co-President of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Club at VHS. In addition to volunteering as a mentor, Daisy also speaks through Valencia High School’s AVID program to inform and motivate other students and parents about the importance of success in high school and college.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County was founded in 1958 and is one of the national organization’s top mentoring agencies in the country, serving more than 3,000 children each year.
