The Bryant Ranch Garden Club has started up again for first through fifth graders. During lunch time, students enjoy a picnic style lunch while learning about gardening. Since Bryant Ranch promotes a Trash Free Lunch Program, students in the garden club are also responsible for composting lunch waste. Students learn what types of foods can be composted and then get to see the result from what’s grown in the garden. During the month of October, students will start planting pumpkins for next year’s fall and winter harvest.
