Invention and engineering combine in exciting ways for this year’s Bryant Ranch GATE Academies. Scholars have been busy investigating Leonardo da Vinci’s simple machines, and constructing catapults and trebuchets. During this learning opportunity, students constructed a catapult and then had fun testing them out.
Up next for the school’s GATE Academies is a special field trip to Trash for Teaching to engineer a recycled project.
