On May 24, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) hosted its annual Induction Colloquium at the Professional Development Academy. Board of Education members, school and district administrators, and induction mentors gathered to help honor 74 first and second year teachers as they shared their portfolio of work and accomplishments from the school year.

Based on the event theme, “Together We Can Move Mountains,” Superintendent Greg Plutko spoke to the crowd about the importance of mentors and the guidance, both professional and personal, that they devotedly offer.
