Ruby Drive Elementary School’s 4th grade students presented their annual Walk Through California History play on Thursday June 7th. The play starts off with James Marshall and John Sutter discovering gold in 1848. It continues on with the whole gold fever experience and struggle to get rich. Act 2 begins with the Mexican American War and finally ends with the petition for Statehood. The songs, “Oh California!” and “I Love You California!” round out the entire event. The students put in great effort and produced an excellent performance!
