Valencia High School senior earns first place at FBLA National Leadership Conference

VHS student.

At the beginning of summer, Valencia High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) journeyed to San Antonio, Texas to compete at the National Leadership Conference. FBLA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) student organization committed to preparing today’s students for success in business leadership.

Tiger Chris Leung, who had just graduated with the Class of 2019, competed in the Economics category and proceeded to take first place in the country with a score of 96%!

“This is the best we’ve ever finished at NLC.” shared Joy Millam, VHS FBLA adviser. “Three years ago we had a 2nd place team in the 3D Animation performance, and another year we had a student finish with a top 10 in Economics.”

Although Chris has now left Valencia High School, he is taking his talents to UCLA. Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger!
