Esperanza Aztecs capture top accolades at Annual ‘Exposed’ Art and Literature Contest

Esperanza artists.

In December, the Yorba Linda Public Library held their Annual ‘Exposed’ Art and Literature Contest Awards Ceremony at their new campus. This art contest is designed especially for teens to express their visions and ideas through art and literature. The contest accepts submissions from all students and schools in the area.

The theme of the art contest was ‘Golden Hour’ and each student wrote a 100-word statement of how their creative vision was interpreted.

In the area of drawing and painting, Esperanza students won 1st and 2nd place, and received three honorable mention awards! Congratulations to Katelyn Miller (1st), Kaylin Hanley (2nd), and Halina Herc, Janey McIntire, and Miriam Shaaban Youssef (Honorable Mention).

In the area of graphic design, Esperanza students won 2nd place and an Honorable Mention award! Congratulations to Ryann Bonner (2nd) and Audrey Song (Honorable Mention).
