El Dorado High fundraises to help “Make-a-Wish” come true for two fellow Golden Hawks

Make a wish.

During the month of February, El Dorado High School sponsored a fundraiser for Make-a-Wish. With a goal of raising $15,000 to help encourage two young people dealing with a serious illness, the Golden Hawk ASB put collection boxes in classrooms and promoted an online donation option as well. After just one month, the Golden Hawks and their community were able to raise over $15,000 and make a wish come true for two students.

“We are exceptionally proud of our students and we are happy to contribute to such a worthy program,” Principal Joey Davis shared. “Special thanks to senior Ethan Yochum and his father who led this project.”
