Wagner Elementary School holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for new library and computer lab

On Friday, April 29, Wagner Elementary School held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for its new library, computer lab, work room, bathroom and conference room.

As honored guests filed in, they were entertained by music provided by the Tuffree Middle School jazz ensemble. Speakers included Principal Patrick Brown, Superintendent Doug Domene, former school librarian Nugget Skates, former computer lab instructional aide Sharon Lynch and PTA Second Vice President Christine Snapp.

The future at Wagner will bring about new growth, new ideas and new opportunities. Students, staff and parents embrace the upcoming era with anticipation, enthusiasm and school spirit. The new library and computer lab are an important component to this future.

Wagner Elementary School is located at 717 E. Yorba Linda Blvd. in Placentia.
