Congratulations to Yorba Linda High School senior Brandon Bollinger for being named the Orange County Register “Artist of the Week.” Brandon used his artistic skills to design T-shirts commemorating the upcoming Yorba Days Community Faire, hosted by the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce. Working with a Chamber director, he created a design that represented the city of Yorba Linda, as well as the classic cars that will be on display during the event.

A small team of Brandon, Ghevanni, Quinn Santone, Michael Mantoura and Thomas Hoppe created 300 shirts for the event. Each of these students is taking Advanced Commercial Art with Kelly Fritz at YLHS. Advanced Commercial Art is one of the support classes for the Mustang Business Academy (MBA). This course is just one example of how YLHS students are getting real industry experience for the future.
