El Dorado baseball team makes holidays special for 15 kids from H.I.S. House

The El Dorado High School boys baseball team recently “adopted” 15 children from H.I.S. (Homeless Intervention Shelter) House in Placentia, and filled their Christmas wish lists. Coach Matt Lucas dropped off the gifts on Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Coach Lucas added, “I’m proud of the selflessness and service of our players and their families. We are honored and blessed as a program to be able to help.”

Special thanks to former Golden Hawk Lorena Cardoza (right), Greg Games (left) and the staff at H.I.S. House.
