Valencia teacher Paola Suchsland receives scholarship to study educational administration

Congratulations to Valencia High School teacher Paola Suchsland, who was one of 13 educators honored on Saturday, Feb. 4, for receiving a full-tuition scholarship from the Southern California Leadership Network to study educational administration at the University of Phoenix.

Paola teaches AP Spanish Literature, International Baccalaureate (IB) Spanish and Spanish for Native Speakers at Valencia. She serves as the site 504 support teacher, and frequently facilitates professional development workshops on WICOR (writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization and reading) and collaboration strategies. In addition, Paola designed and facilitates a world language pedagogy course at University of California, Riverside.

Paola is looking forward to her educational leadership journey. Congrats!
