El Dorado High School held its 2017 commencement ceremony on Wednesday, June 14, in Bradford Stadium at Valencia High School. The Golden Hawk Class of 2017 included 458 graduating seniors; 92% of which have committed to attend a two or four year college or university following graduation.

The ceremony included honored guests such as Board of Education Clerk, Carrie Buck and Trustee, Judi Carmona as well as the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, Kevin Lee, Director of Executive Services, Richard McAlindin, and Principal Joey Davis.

Graduating students Nicole Kang, InHyuk Kim, and Erica Vellanoweth all addressed the crowd with words of reflection, wisdom, and inspiration.

Upon receiving their diplomas, the Golden Hawks tossed their caps in the air to soar, signifying the end of their time in K-12 education.

Congratulations, graduates!
