Congratulations to Coach Mike Marrujo, his staff and Valencia High School’s varsity football team for completing a perfect 10-0 season. The last time the Tigers achieved a perfect record was in 1991, also under Coach Marrujo’s leadership. The team is ranked fourth in their division heading into CIF. The evening began with a special ceremony to honor our veterans. Members of the Placentia American Legion Post 277, Valencia alumni and VHS staff who served in our nation’s military were honored before the game, and presented with a special Veterans Day-edition Valencia hat.
Special thanks to Coach Luis Garcia and the VHS football boosters for organizing this opportunity to show our appreciation to those who protect our freedom.
