Over one thousand student musicians perform together at this year’s District Band Pageant

The 40th annual District Band Pageant was held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Valencia High School’s Bradford Stadium.

Bincins Garcia, the band director at Yorba Linda High School, directed 1,400 students as they performed “Patriotic Spectacular” and “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the celebration.

Six middle school (Bernardo Yorba, Kraemer, Travis Ranch School, Tuffree, Valadez and Yorba Linda) and four high school (El Dorado, Esperanza, Valencia and Yorba Linda) marching bands took to the field for a wonderful evening of great music and pageantry. The high schools also presented their very own field shows.

All money collected at the gate went toward the district’s instrumental music program.
