Over 285 students participated in Kraemer Middle School’s Super Saturday Finale on Saturday, June 4. Included were 25 VolunTeen leaders from Valencia High School, and 35 incoming seventh graders from Morse and Ruby Drive elementary schools. Student classes included a lesson in “Medical IIllustration” from Miss City of Angels Emma Foss, and “Disney Art” by Emmy-winning illustrator Derek Lee Thompson. Students also learned how to make nutritious smoothies, as well as disc golf, Olympic fencing, sign language and “Money Madness” hosted by TeachersFirst representative Shannon Workman.
