Esperanza High School (EHS) senior Paige Lopez received a second place medal at the 2018 Educators Rising California State Competition and will compete in the Educators Rising National Competition in Florida in June.
Paige received her medal in Creative Lecture speaking on the topic of equity. The Creative Lecture Competition offers “ambitious, fearless, bold-thinking students a platform for sharing their ideas in a format that has been embraced by intellectual society.” Congratulations to Paige, as well as her teacher and mentor, Bird Potter, on this outstanding accomplishment.
