Young Fairmont Elementary School actors and actresses recently enjoyed performing in the Music Man at the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Performing Arts Center located at El Dorado High School. Students rehearsed for three long months for the big night. Directed by Harrison Zierer of Center Stage Theater, the show’s four performances were a big hit with students, parents, and teachers alike.
“Being in the music man helped me to improve my confidence,” said one of the young actresses, Ava Son, a sixth grader.
“They should do it again next year!” exclaimed 6th grader Carley Azevedo, who played Mrs. Paroo in the musical.
The production was beloved by all, and Fairmont students are hoping for another play next year!
