Rio Vista Elementary School teachers have been actively seeking partnerships to strengthen our college, career and civic ready focus. Below are a few highlights from our partners at the university and local level.
Marty and Seon Burbank donated an Indiana University T shirt to every student in Mrs Ashton’s kindergarten class.
Mrs Gamble’s first grade class has received many donations from the University of Alabama. The donations came from the College of Human Environmental Sciences. The school got individual personalized letters from the dean, Dr. Milla Boschung, an autographed picture of Alabama’s mascot Big Al, an autographed picture of men’s basketball coach Avery Johnson, as well as other goodies and posters.
