Mabel Paine community collects over 100 blankets for PYLUSD homeless

Under the direction of teacher Jacquelyn Nolan, students, parents, and staff from Mabel Paine Elementary School recently collected over 100 blankets for the homeless of Yorba Linda, and for the McKinney-Vento families of PYLUSD.

The Mabel Paine Very Important Posse (VIPosse) led the effort, and all students were excited to participate. Jon Matson, PYLUSD’s McKinney-Vento liaison, commented that he was thrilled to receive blankets from Mabel Paine again this year.

Last year, Mabel Paine generously donated both blankets and toys. Mrs. Nolan says toys will coming again this year. Thank you Mabel Paine VIPosse!
