Melrose Elementary School is thankful for the presence of their new counselor, Eleisha Quintanilla, who has been taking time out of her day to read to various classes on campus. Ms. Q, as she is known to the young students, has visited all grade levels to read and discuss an individual story with students. Principal Nicole Hernandez reported that the students were actively engaged and learned it is OK to be who they are. Ms. Q also serves the students of Rio Vista Elementary School in Anaheim.
