Students at El Camino Real High School in Mr. Petersen’s North Orange County ROP Design for Digital Print class and part of the Raptor Academy of Printing, Imaging and Design kicked the new school year off right by working together to paint a giant 12’ x 8’ mural, depicting the school mascot engaged in various activities such as reading, skating, performing, and exploring the cosmos. Working together to learn and practice the principles of color theory, contrast, unity and messaging in art while having a great time, was a stress-free, liberating way to start the new year.
