In October, Dr. Nancy Watkins, assistant principal at Valencia High School, co-presented at the International Leadership Association (ILA) Conference in Barcelona, Spain. The conference featured more than 200 workshops, papers, panels and presentations promoting a deeper understanding of leadership knowledge and practices for the greater good of individuals and communities worldwide. Dr. Watkins co-presented with her husband, Dr. Daryl Watkins, an associate professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Their workshop on “The Thoughtful Leader” was designed to help educators understand the process of critical thinking related to leadership.
