George Key School recently held their annual FUNDrive® Fundraiser, where staff, students, and the community donated their old belongings to benefit the school. All together, George Key earned a total of $1,118.31 for their school!
In support of the event, school staff members and families took shifts at the Savers in Yorba Linda, emptying cars of their donated goods. Some staff members even went so far as to drive around town to pick up donations from garage sales and community members who were not able to make the drive themselves.
The time and efforts of these individuals paid off for the school in a big way! This year’s fundraiser earnings were double what the school received last year.
“Thank you all for your generosity and for the time you donated to support our school,” Principal Kim Smith said.
