Teachers Mr. Galvan, Mr. Mason, Mr. Storing, and Mr. Shaw recently worked together to teach a metric system science lab to all students of different abilities and learning styles at Esperanza High School. Students spent two days learning to use different tools for measurement including graduated cylinders, triple beam balances, and meter sticks. The goal of the lesson was for students to take a hands-on approach to understanding the universal form of measurement used across all fields of science. Way to go, Aztecs!
