On Wednesday, September 25, Brookhaven Elementary School students had a busy day of learning, leadership, and fun.
In the morning, students participated in their first school-wide Pep Rally assembly of the year. The purpose of the assembly was to highlight the Bears’ first three character traits — confidence, hard work, and cooperation. Student leaders of all ages — Preppy K to sixth grade — demonstrated these traits and ended the Pep Rally with the school’s “When You Believe in Yourself, Anything is Possible” cheer!
At lunch, students were treated to a preview of the new after-school music enrichment program where students can learn to play the ukulele or guitar. Students then enjoyed a “mini-concert” while they ate lunch and heard about the rest of the school’s fun and enriching opportunities for students.
