Esperanza High School’s boys varsity wrestling recently competed among 63 other teams at the La Costa Classic. The tournament included teams from all over the West Coast. Four Aztec wrestlers made it to the podium following well-fought matches. This included Joey Mora, Chris Calderon, Elijah Holiday, and Jake Gilbert.
The EHS girls varsity wrestling team also competed recently at Foothill and had two champions, Makayla Rydbeck and Madi Nunez, and then Kaylee Bramlete and Molley Keller both placed 3rd and 4th. Go, Aztecs!
