Valerie Gabriel’s 5th grade students at Van Buren Elementary School recently held the 7th annual Winter Bazaar. Students worked in project teams to research, do cost analysis, advertise, and produce over 500 craft items and treats to sell to fellow students. As a result of their efforts, the Roadrunners raised $900 to donate to World Wildlife Fund, CHOC Hospital, and Disabled American Veterans. Great job, Van Buren!
