The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is proud to announce the addition of Esperanza Early College (EEC), a new program coming to the campus of Esperanza High School in Anaheim, beginning with the 2021-2022 school year.
EEC will offer students a unique, educational experience with the opportunity to complete their high school graduation requirements while earning transferable college units through courses offered by Fullerton College. Students can take these college units to their desired college or university.
Esperanza Early College courses will be taught by Fullerton College professors and offered during 5th and 6th period of the school day. Students who have demonstrated a readiness and willingness to learn at a higher level in grades 11-12 are eligible to enroll. Tuition and textbook rental will be free of charge for students enrolled at Esperanza. Course offerings will vary semester-to-semester.
