On Monday, Oct. 24, orchestras from the district’s four comprehensive high schools performed at the 14th annual High School Orchestra Concert at the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
This event featured performances by the Sinfonia Orchestras of El Dorado, Yorba Linda/Esperanza (combined) and Valencia high schools. Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator Phil Mortensen gave the opening remarks. Conductors for each performance included: Paul Grant (El Dorado), Gary Hung (Esperanza), Bruce Toppings (Valencia) and Phil Mortensen (Yorba Linda).
