Valencia High School’s ASB recently teamed up with the Orange County Voter Empowerment Coalition (OCVEC) to provide an opportunity to register to vote for students on campus. During the week of September 13, students were able to learn about the importance of voting while completing their registration forms if they were 16 or older.
Since the event, the OCVEC also made plans with the school’s social sciences department to visit government classrooms to further explore how voting impacts students’ lives.
